New U of A Faculty, Staff and Student Laundry Service Provider

The University Housing Department, together with the University of Arkansas Bookstore, announced the introduction of a new campus laundry service provider, Razorback Laundry. Razorback Laundry's mission is to make laundry positive. The company has a proven track record of working with over 23 of the top universities nationwide and are looking forward to serving the U of A campus community.

When the Razorback Laundry service launches this fall, their trucks will be easy to see outside residence halls on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. U of A faculty, staff and students can drop off their dirty laundry and pick them up clean from the friendly staff ready to greet them on one of their trucks. Additional pick-up and drop-off locations around campus will allow them to operate a courtesy route for those special circumstances that prevent someone from making it to the truck. Laundry is cleaned and returned within 48 hours. They offer 10-, 20-, or 30-pound per week bundled wash 'n' fold plans. Clothes come back clean, folded, stacked, and wrapped in recyclable shrink-wrap. In addition to bundled service, they provide a dry cleaning service where clothes are laundered, dry cleaned, and returned on hangers.

Razorback Laundry will be set up at the check-in tent during move-in to answer questions and distribute complimentary service bags personalized with tracking barcodes. The barcodes are scanned throughout the cycle of service and show up in the My Laundry App so students always know the location of their clothes.

Razorback Laundry calculates that you could save 1,700 gallons of water by using the Razorback Laundry service over doing it yourself. The utilities Razorback Laundry uses are on their bill, not the university's. As the company continues to grow, it is dedicated to finding more ways to conserve and reuse resources wherever possible.

Starting this fall, they will be looking for 5-10 employees as campus attendants to assist with service. You will be joining a nationwide team all dedicated to helping students. Razorback Laundry pays well, has a lot of job perks — like free laundry service — and even invites staff to Colorado for a summer adventure. That’s the Razorback Laundry team: adventurous.
