FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — There’s still time to register a team for the Pig Sooie Scramble: Dollars for Scholars Golf Tournament Fundraiser and Par-Tee, an event hosted by the Northwest Arkansas Regional Network of the Arkansas Alumni Association.

The four-person scramble on Friday, Aug. 15, at Stonebridge Meadows Golf Course in Fayetteville is presented by WealthPath Investment Advisors. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m.

The winning team will automatically advance to the 2014 Acura College Alumni Team Championship on Oct. 5-8 at Pinehurst, North Carolina. All proceeds fund the NWA Network Scholarships. Team registrations are $500 and more information is available online.

Not a golfer? Join us for the Par-Tee presented by WealthPath Investment Advisors and Tom January Floors from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, at the Janelle Y. Hembree Alumni House. The public event will include food, drinks and a silent auction to kick off the 2014 Pig Sooie Scramble. Tickets are $10 each for the Par-Tee. All sponsors, auction donors and tournament players will receive FREE Par-Tee admission! Pre-registration is highly recommended and the deadline is Friday, Aug. 8.
