Network Maintenance to Affect Campus Buildings, June 29

IT Services will perform planned network maintenance from midnight to 10 a.m. on Sunday, June 29, to upgrade equipment for several buildings on campus.

From midnight to 3 a.m., Internet will be down in buildings using distribution switches in the Band Building and Walton College of Business. Affected buildings include the Arkansas Union, University Bookstore, Kimpel Hall, several resident halls and the J.B. Hunt building. For a complete list, see https://techarticles.uark.edu/351#band.

From 7 to 10 a.m., Internet will be down in buildings using distribution switches in the Administrative Services Building and the Administration Building. Affected buildings include the Law Center, Alumni House, the Pat Walker Health Center and Bud Walton Arena. For a complete list, see https://techarticles.uark.edu/351#admn.

From 8 to 10 a.m., the Network Engineering Team will also perform firewall maintenance. Outages are not expected for users outside of the buildings listed above, but a brief interruption to Internet service is possible.
