A wellness and health coach assists an individual or group identify their strengths, and use those strengths to build skills in areas where there is less wellness and balance.

Wellness and health coaches aim to capitalize on what is right, rather than focusing on what is wrong, this is accomplished through: exploration of strengths, lifestyle skills, self-awareness, coaching support, self-accountability, and unconditional positive regard.
