All University students are invited to attend the Chancellor’s Ball  from 9 p.m. to midnight Friday, April 11, at the Fayetteville Town Center. Associated Student Government, University Programs, and Residents’ Interhall Congress are proud to sponsor this free, hallmark event. This is the only event of its kind offered to the University of Arkansas community and a time for the large array of students to come together for a fun, social event!

“The people here are really what makes the University of Arkansas what it is. The Chancellor's Ball allows us to celebrate just that. All students are invited for an evening dedicated to fun and camaraderie,” said Ellie Keffler, ASG vice president.

The evening will consist of dancing with live local music from the band Goose and D.J. Derek.  There will also be food and a chocolate fountain for guests to enjoy.

“The Chancellor's Ball will be a chance for all students to get together to celebrate another successful year. UP is excited to be involved with ASG and RIC to put on a great concert and event,” said Katie Johnson, UP president.

Shuttle buses will make trips back and forth from the various residence halls as well as the Union Bus Depot to the Town Center to transport students and guests.

“After hearing concerns about the potential that on-campus residents might feel excluded from the Greek-like event, student leaders in RIC took the initiative to fund and establish a shuttle system that would transport all residents to the Town Center and back home to their residence halls throughout the evening," said Onnissia Harries, RIC president.

The event is free for all University of Arkansas students. For more information and any questions, please call 479-575-5255 or email asg@uark.edu.
