FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – To help local residents get into the holiday spirit, KUAF 91.3 FM is hosting a Christmas-themed show at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, at the Fayetteville Public Library. The public is invited to be part of the audience. The show will be recorded, and portions will be broadcast during the Dec. 24 edition of Ozarks At Large.

Hosts of Ozarks At Large, KUAF's local news magazine, will interview representatives from Cooperative Emergency Outreach and the United Way of Northwest Arkansas about the importance of year-round giving. Becca Martin Brown from Northwest Arkansas Newspapers will give an entertainment overview for 2014. The show will also feature musical performances by the Adams Collins Trio, Jones 'n' Leah and Farmer and the Markets.

The event is free and open to the public. Guests are invited to bring nonperishable food items, which will be donated to the Fayetteville Public Schools Outback program, a food pantry and clothing closet that helps families in need in the Fayetteville School District.

The library is located at 401 W. Mountain Street. More information is available at www.kuaf.com. KUAF is a listener-supported service of the Walter J. Lemke Department of Journalism in the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and School of Arts and Sciences.
