Leadership Walton

Leadership Walton, a developmental program managed by the George W. Edwards Jr. Career Development Center in the Sam M. Walton College of Business, now has 624 members, which is a record for the program. Another program record was achieved this summer when 446 students submitted an application to join Leadership Walton. The program is limited to approximately 200 new members per year, so the selection process was more rigorous than ever. Two hundred and eleven students were accepted and began the program this semester.

Leadership Walton began in the fall of 2007 with the mission of offering a unique blend of academic, leadership and career development opportunities specifically designed to guide students toward lifelong professional success. This program fills the gap between academic pursuits and workforce preparation. Over 200 students have graduated from the program.
