Blackboard Learn Resources Expanded to Accommodate Increased Traffic

A major increase in Blackboard Learn usage has resulted in Blackboard corporate technical support expansion of hardware and system resources.

In the first two days of the semester, over 1.7 million views of Blackboard Learn pages were recorded, an 88 percent increase over the 900,000 page views in the first two days of the spring 2013 semester. Page views have increased as more students enroll in Blackboard Learn courses. This semester's Blackboard Learn enrollment of 87,000 is a 10 percent increase over spring 2013.

Hardware and system resource expansion is expected to resolve slowness and other issues recently experienced with system performance.
