Section of Dickson Street to Close to All Traffic for Paving

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The section of West Dickson Street on the University of Arkansas campus, from McIlroy Avenue to the west side of Duncan Avenue, will be closed to all traffic starting at midnight Wednesday, July 31. Road crews will prepare and repave this section of the street, which is due to re-open at 7 a.m. Monday, Aug. 5.

Access to this section of Dickson Street is currently limited, but no traffic will be be able to use this part of the street during the repaving process. On Aug. 5, when the paving is complete, traffic will again be limited to authorized U of A personnel and scheduled delivery and pickup service.

The target date for the re-opening of Dickson Street to all traffic is Monday Aug. 12.
