Arkansas Alumni Association to Host Hog Wild Tailgates

Football season is quickly approaching and that means the Arkansas Alumni Association will host a Hog Wild Tailgate, previously known as Pre-Game Rallies, 2½ hours prior to every home (Fayetteville) football game at the Janelle Y. Hembree Alumni House. The association will kick off its Hog Wild Tailgate season with Arkansas vs. Louisiana-Lafayette on Aug. 31.

Get ready to cheer on the Hogs while enjoying entertainment, beverages and food from Catering Unlimited and Shake's Frozen Custard. During the Membership Appreciation Tailgate on Sept. 14, the Alumni Association will feature a Hog Wild Kids Zone! This is an area just for the younger members of the University of Arkansas family. Children will enjoy games, face painting, balloons and many more activities.

This year, the Alumni Association will expand to Little Rock to host a Hog Wild Tailgate on Nov. 23 when the Hogs will play Mississippi State at War Memorial.

The Arkansas Alumni Association will also host Alumni Alley located just south of the Janelle Y. Hembree Alumni House. Alumni Alley provides tailgating spots for avid Razorback fans who are looking for a space to tailgate with their friends and family close to the stadium. To find out more, contact Terri Dover at tdover@uark.edu or 479-575-2801.

Hog Wild Tailgates are open to the public. Registered guests only are allowed in the facility during the tailgate. Visit www.arkansasalumni.org/hogwildtailgates by Aug. 16 to get your early Hog discount.

Hog Wild Tailgates are sponsored by The Dickson, Liberty Mutual, Butterfield Trail Village, Bank of America, Harps and McBride Distributing.
