Diversity Conference Planned for Local Public and Private Organizations

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas will host a Diversity Mentoring and Retention Conversation for members of public and private organizations that want surpass their diversity and inclusion goals. Earl Suttle, noted psychologist, consultant, author and motivational speaker will lead the discussion.

This free event will be held from 9 -11 a.m. Monday, June 10 in Room 203 of Willard J. Walker Hall. Lunch will be provided after the conference.

Suttle is a national leader in diversity and inclusion consultation, as well as leadership development. He is the founder and chairman of Leadership Success International, LLC, an international training and consulting company based in Atlanta, Ga. His presentation will examine how universities and companies have responded to the changes that have occurred with respect to diversity and inclusion and best practices learned for achieving diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

This event is jointly sponsored by the Graduate School and International Education, the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Education and Health Professions, the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural Food and Life Sciences, the Sam M. Walton School of Business, and the Office of Diversity Affairs.
