Short Takes: Apparel Studies Program's Fashion Industry Influence
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Graduates of the apparel studies program at the University of Arkansas are influencing all aspects of fashion from deciding what types of styles and designs are available at local boutiques to how the nation’s largest retailers market their products. The apparel studies program prepares students for multiple roles within the fashion industry by combining what are commonly two different tracks — design and merchandising — into one major.
