Comedian Chad Daniels to Perform at the U of A

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – University Programs will host a live performance by comedian Chad Daniels at 8 p.m. April 18 in the Verizon Ballroom at the Arkansas Union.

This event is free to current U of A students through the student activities fee, and students must show university ID for entrance. Admission for general public is free and depends on seating availability. Chad Daniels first came on the comedy scene when he performed in the “New Faces Show” at the prestigious Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. Daniels has been featured on The Late Late Show on CBS with Craig Kilbourn and Craig Ferguson and The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien. In 2006 Daniels was on Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham. In 2009 he was named “Artist of the Year” in comedy by City Pages. He also has a half hour special called Comedy Central Presents…Chad Daniels, which was voted #5 of all time in 2010. In 2012 Daniels won the Gilda’s Laughfest Competition. Daniels now has 3 CDS, “Two Minutes for Stale Hacking”, “Busy Being Awesome, and “You’re the Best.”
