Veteran UAPD Detective Set to Retire

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Detective Jerry Weiner, a 12 year veteran of the University of Arkansas Police Department, will be honored at a retirement party from 2:30-4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6 in room 240 of the Administrative Services Building.

Refreshments will be served at the drop-in reception, and there will be a short ceremony at 3:15 p.m.

Detective Weiner has had a 40 year career in law enforcement, with the last 12 years serving the University of Arkansas.
