Save the Date for the 2013 Winter Teaching Symposium!
The 2013 Winter Teaching Symposium is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, and all faculty are invited to attend. The symposium includes continental breakfast, plenary sessions, seven breakout sessions, and lunch, all in the Arkansas Union Ballroom.
The plenary session topics include "Civility & Collegiality in Higher Education," with Provost Sharon Gaber, and "Distance Learning at UA," with Vice Provost Javier Reyes.
There will be breakout sessions on topics such as:
- Are You Clicking? - Clickers in the Classroom
- Pen & Paper/iPad/Smart Phone, Course
- Evaluations - How to Use them to Improve Teaching
- Study Abroad - How do I Get Started?
- Library Resources "2013"
- Civility & Collegiality - Where do I go from Here?
- On-Line Course Development - How do I Get Started?
