FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.—The University of Arkansas Office of University Relations has produced a new short video designed to introduce prospective faculty, staff, and their families to life as a member of the university community and Northwest Arkansas.

Titled “The U of A: A Great Place to Call Home,” the two and a half minute video features a variety of campus and regional images that showcase the quality, nature and opportunities that exist in the region. The video also notes the university’s enrollment growth, the major investments taking place in the campus infrastructure, and the numerous social, cultural and recreational opportunities that people in Northwest Arkansas can enjoy.

The video was produced by Will Gisler, the manager of executive productions for the Office of University Relations. In addition to imagery produced by Gisler and other university videographers, raw video content was provided by the Northwest Arkansas Council, the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism, and CJRW Northwest of Springdale and Little Rock.

“The University of Arkansas is on an upward trajectory as one of the nation’s top public research universities,” said John N. Diamond, associate vice chancellor for university relations. “Potential faculty, staff and administrators from around the world are expressing interest in being part of the U of A community. This new video gives them and their family members a chance to see what it’s like to live and work here.”
