New Language-Learning Database Available from University Libraries

Aloha! The University Libraries are pleased to offer a one-year trial of the Mango Language Learning database. Mango offers step-by-step web tutorials for dozens of different languages, including Arabic, Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin), Farsi, French, Haitian Creole, Hawaiian, Hebrew, Hindi, Japanese, Russian, Spanish, Ukrainian, Urdu, Vietnamese, Pirate, and many more. Arrrrrrrr you ready to expand your horizons, matey?

Mango uses conversational settings and real-life situations to make learning easy and fun. Create a personal account and learn at your own pace. Choose basic level for simple, practical skills for common conversation or choose the complete level for in-depth and comprehensive language and grammar skills. Mango also offers mobile apps for iPhone, iPad, and Android so you can take the classroom with you.

Mango also offers English-language courses for speakers of Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Greek, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish, and Vietnamese.

The Libraries have Mango for a one-year trial, so please test it and send us your comments on this new resource.
