FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Morgan Hogue of Fayetteville is the new assistant director of development for the College of Engineering at the University of Arkansas.

Hogue comes to the university from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock where she worked as the rural programs administrator, a position that managed scholarships and loan programs aimed at placing physicians in rural Arkansas communities.

“We are pleased to have Morgan on our team,” said Kellie Knight, senior director of development and external relations for the College of Engineering. “Her experience in the corporate world and in higher education settings has prepared her nicely for this position. Her passion for the state of Arkansas, her alma mater and philanthropy make her the perfect addition to our team.”

Before joining the team at UAMS, Hogue served as the scholarship administrator in the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences. Prior to that role, she worked in human resources for the manufacturing company Leggett & Platt.

“I am excited to be joining the College of Engineering’s development team,” said Hogue.
“It is a privilege to work toward the development and advancement of such an innovative and dynamic college while continuing to serve the state of Arkansas.”

Hogue holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from the Sam M. Walton College of Business. She is recognized as a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honor Society and is a past member of the Northwest Arkansas Human Resource Association. Hogue and her husband, Brian, have one daughter, Ella Claire.
