Student Ombuds Services Director Leaving but Services Still Available

Sue Theiss, director of student ombuds services, will be leaving the university this week for a new position in Oregon. There will be no disruption in service to the campus community while a replacement is recruited and the position filled.

Jessica Pope, a graduate assistant, has worked with Theiss for more than a year and has experience with conflict resolution, facilitating dialogue, programming and classroom instruction.

The work of the student ombuds services office will continue to be accomplished through the support of campus partners working with Pope, who can be reached at 479-575-4831.
