NanoBusiness Commercialization Association Honors Engineering Professor
The NanoBusiness Commercialization Association has included Ajay Malshe, Distinguished Professor and holder of the Twenty-First Century Chair in Materials, Manufacturing and Integrated Systems, on its Most Influential Nanotechnology Leaders List of 2011.
Malshe is the chief technology officer for NanoMech, a nanotechnology company. NanoMech’s chairman, president and CEO, Jim Phillips, was also included on the NanoBCA list.
"We are so proud of this recognition,” stated Phillips. “This national recognition is a tremendous development for us and our company, as we are included on a list of honorees that include some of the best scientific minds and business leaders in the nation. It is both inspiring and humbling to appear on this list of nanotechnology leaders who are creating a more competitive and innovative nation.”
The NanoBusiness Commercialization Association is the industry’s top trade organization dedicated to promoting the commercialization of nanotechnology while helping companies bring affordable, life-improving nanotech products to the market.
Each year, the association develops a list of the top 25 most influential leaders in nanotechnology in America. “The common thread amongst the honored individuals is that they are all nanotechnology evangelists. Kudos to these leaders for their contributions to our nanotechnology community,” said Vincent Caprio, executive director of the NanoBusiness Commercialization Association.
