Memorial Service to Honor School of Law Student

A memorial service will be held to honor Kaitlin LaBuda, a second year School of Law student and an active member of the Christian Legal Society. She passed away on Nov. 25. The service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2 in the E.J. Ball Courtroom in Leflar Law Center.

“The School of Law family mourns the loss of one of our own, Kaitlin LaBuda,” said Stacy L. Leeds, dean of the law school. “She was a beloved member of our community, and we will miss her more than words can express. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.”

LaBuda was from St. Petersburg, Fla. She was injured during an automobile accident on Nov. 21 while traveling in Missouri, and she died from her injuries on Friday, Nov. 25.
