'Peabody: An Enduring Symbol of Education' Can be Viewed Online
A video screened at the Nov. 4 rededication of Peabody Hall on the University of Arkansas campus is available for viewing online at the university's YouTube channel.
The College of Education and Health Professions and University Relations produced the 8-minute video that tells the history of Peabody Hall and the training school operated in it for more than 50 years. The building was closed for 18 months during an $8.8 million restoration project.
Peabody Hall, which re-opened for the fall semester, houses the university's curriculum and instruction department. In addition to classrooms, a computer lab, faculty and staff offices and graduate assistant office space, it also houses the Peabody Perks coffee shop operated by Chartwells.
