Northwest Arkansas lawyer Jason B. Hendren will speak at noon Monday, Oct. 31, in the Jim Blair Library Commons at the University of Arkansas School of Law as part of the Lawyer in the Library Series. The talk is free and open to the public, and light refreshments will be served.

A 1997 graduate of the University of Arkansas Little Rock School of Law, Hendren practiced in the Little Rock office of Friday, Eldredge & Clark, LLP, for more than a decade before moving to the firm's Northwest Arkansas office. He concentrates his practice on medical malpractice defense, and also handles a broad range of general and commercial litigation. He has tried several complex cases in courts throughout Arkansas, and was selected by his peers for inclusion in Mid-South Super Lawyers 2011.

Hendren is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association; Arkansas Association of Defense Counsel; Defense Research Institute; American Inns of Court; Scribes; UALR William H. Bowen School of Law Alumni Association Board of Directors; Bentonville Public Schools Foundation; and Historic Arkansas Museum Board of Directors.
