Senior Associate Dean of Students Candidates to Present on Campus
Candidates for the senior associate dean of students will make presentations and hold open forums during their on-campus interviews between Oct. 10 and Oct. 21. The search committee reviewed and recommended candidates for on-campus interviews. David Davies, assistant vice provost for finance and administration in student affairs, serves as committee chair.
The senior associate dean of students has leadership, supervisory and administrative responsibility for two associate deans of students and their respective reporting departments including, Academic Integrity and Student Conduct, Center for Educational Access, Center for Community Engagement, First Year Experience, Greek Life, Off Campus Connections, Student Activities, Student Media, Student Ombuds Services, and Veterans Resource and Information Center.
The candidates are Gregory Elkins, adjunct graduate faculty from Texas Tech University; Melissa Harwood-Rom, associate athletic director, student achievement and support services, Razorback Athletics, University of Arkansas; Vincent J. Loffredo, associate vice president university student services, director of student life, and student ombudsman, University of Texas Medical Branch.
