School of Law named Best Value by preLaw magazine

The University of Arkansas School of Law was named a Best Value by preLaw magazine in its 2011 ranking of the quality and affordability of American law schools. The rankings reflect in-state tuition, debt, the percent of graduates employed nine months after graduation and bar passage rate.

"I'm very pleased to see the University of Arkansas School of Law be recognized as the outstanding value our alumni and students know it to be," said Stacy L. Leeds, dean of the School of Law. "We offer students world-class instruction and upon graduation, their career options are not constrained by excessive student debt."

The School of Law was one of 60 law schools included as a Best Value. The final rankings and methodology will be published in the fall issue of preLaw, to be released in early October.
