Season tickets for the 2011 campaign of the University of Arkansas volleyball team are now on sale through the Razorback Ticket Center. Fans looking to renew their ticket packages may do so for $50 while first-time buyers can secure their reserved seats for $29.

First-time packages also include a $10 Chartwells coupon, redeemable at the campus locations of Starbucks, Einsteins, Quiznos and the Union Food Court Market. For more information, visit the ticket office’s page at ArkansasRazorbacks.com or call at 800-982-4647.

To begin their 2011 season, head coach Robert Pulliza and the Razorback volleyball team open at home Aug. 26-27 with the Arkansas Invitational which will feature two NCAA Tournament teams in Colorado State and Middle Tennessee. In total, Arkansas is set to play 14 home matches, including 10 against SEC opponents. The Razorbacks will host eight teams that played in last season’s NCAA Tournament, including defending SEC champion Florida.

As announced last week by the SEC, Arkansas’ Oct. 26 home match against LSU will be televised on ESPNU with a first serve of 7 p.m. at Barnhill Arena. The Tigers are the defending Western Division champions in the conference. The match is part of the network’s Wednesday Night Women’s Volleyball schedule.

Last season, Barnhill Arena hosted three crowds of more than 1,000 fans, including the program’s second-highest attendance ever when 1,272 fans watched Arkansas’ five setter against Oklahoma. Three of the top six home attendance marks in program history came during the 2010 season. In addition to the OU crowd, the Razorbacks also played in front of home crowds of 1,263 (Nov. 19 vs. No. 1 Florida) and 1,185 (season opener vs. UMKC).
