School of Social Work Professor Accepted to Summer Institute

Alishia Ferguson, assistant professor in the School of Social Work, was recently accepted to the Arkansas Geriatric Education Mentors & Scholars Summer Institute in Little Rock, Ark. Ferguson will participate in a 60-hour faculty enrichment program where she will learn current didactic education and clinical experiences in geriatrics. This training will also help Ferguson incorporate updated geriatric content in her courses, including the popular "On Death and Dying."
