Thupten Dorjee Wins Omni Center Faculty Award

Thupten Dorjee, an instructor of Tibetan Buddhist philosophy and culture in the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences, has won the Omni Center for Peace, Justice and Ecology Faculty Award. The award was established by professor emeritus James R. Bennett in 2009 to recognize exceptional research, teaching and service by faculty who promote a culture of peace and the study of nonviolence in keeping with the insights of Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr. and Sen. J. William Fulbright.
