Kristen Ingram was considered a hard worker, tough competitor and quiet leader during her three years on the Razorback Women’s golf team. Little was said, however, about her extraordinary life story, which began in an orphanage for Russian children in Uzbekistan. After seven years of hardship and deprivation she was adopted by an American family and raised in California. Her transformation from orphan to professional golfer and current member of the LPGA Futures Tour is chronicled in a feature in the Tour’s website.

Her full story can be found at the LPGA Futures Tour website
