Sustainability Consortium Welcomes PRe Consultants
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – PRé Consultants, a pioneer in the field of life cycle assessment since 1990, has joined the Sustainability Consortium in support of the organization’s science-based work toward a more sustainable global supply chain. The company joins an independent group of global organizations working to drive sustainability in products through all lifecycle stages. The consortium is co-directed by the University of Arkansas and Arizona State University.

Never before has the world seen such a powerful assembly of manufacturers, retailers and non-governmental organizations gathered together to foster life cycle thinking and transparency in production chains” said Mark Goedkoop, managing director of PRé Consultants. “We strongly believe the consortium will thrive if it adopts the concept of “radical” transparency. Society will not have confidence in proprietary databases. Transparency is therefore key for the success of this initiative.”
