University of Arkansas students may now purchase an access pass for all Razorback home athletic events for $65. Only 9,500 passes will be sold.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – University of Arkansas students now have the option of purchasing a Razorback Student Access Pass that will allow them admission to every Razorback home sporting event.

For $65, the pass gives students admission to all Razorback home events, including football and men’s basketball. In previous years, students were required to purchase separate tickets for football and men’s basketball. By comparison, last season students would have paid $115 for the same access to Razorback home events.

The access pass also requires no additional vouchers or tickets, making it more convenient for students to attend regular season home events featuring any one of the Razorbacks’ 19 sports programs. Each student’s ID will be activated as the pass and the fee will be charged to the student’s tuition bill. Students will be required to swipe their ID for entry to all home events. Only 9,500 access passes will be sold.

To order the Razorback Student Access Pass, registered full-time University of Arkansas students should go online to ArkansasRazorbacks.com and click on student tickets under the tickets menu at the top of the page.

“In support of Chancellor Gearhart’s students first initiative, we have made it a priority to re-engage and work with our student leaders,” said Jeff Long, vice chancellor and director of athletics. “We have enjoyed a productive dialogue that has enabled us to address many issues from a student perspective. The students at the University of Arkansas are very important, and we want students in the stands supporting our student-athletes. I appreciate ASG President Billy Fleming and his team for working with us on developing an all-access pass that will make attending all Razorback home events even more affordable and convenient for our students.”

The Razorback Student Access Pass was created as the result of a partnership between Razorback Athletics and the Associated Student Government.

“Working with Jeff Long and other athletic department administrators on this issue has been a joy and a great way to usher in our administration,” Fleming said. “From the onset of our discussions, the athletic department has worked amicably with us to develop a plan that truly serves our students’ best interests. Every issue brought forth from the students has been addressed with this plan. We look forward to a great year in Razorback Athletics.”

The deadline for online activation for the first football game of the year is Wednesday, Sept. 1, at 5 p.m. The Razorbacks play host to Tennessee Tech in Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium on Sept. 4. After Sept. 1, access passes must be purchased at the Ticket Office for the first football home game. For subsequent football games, access passes can still be purchased online by Wednesday at 5 p.m. on game week.

For students without a pass, tickets for Fayetteville football games may be purchased for $5 Monday-Friday the week of the game and $10 on the day of the game based on availability. Beginning on Thursday prior to each game, student tickets not purchased will be made available to the general public for $25.

Tickets for football games in Little Rock are included with the pass, but only for the first 2,000 who pick up their tickets. Students with the access pass can claim Little Rock football tickets on Thursday and Friday a week prior to the game. The Monday and Tuesday of game week, students without a pass may purchase Little Rock football tickets for $10 each.

Student tickets for the Southwest Classic in Arlington, Texas, between Arkansas and Texas A&M are not included with the Razorback Student Access Pass, but will be offered on a priority basis for purchase to access pass members beginning on Sept. 7. Those students without the access pass may purchase Southwest Classic student tickets beginning two weeks prior to the Oct. 9 game. A minimum of 3,500 student tickets will be allocated for the Southwest Classic. Student tickets for the Southwest Classic are $50.

For men’s basketball, the pass guarantees a seat for the first 1,500-3,000 students who enter Bud Walton Arena. The number of seats available depends on the number of passes sold.

Students who do not purchase the pass will be charged $10 per ticket for men’s basketball. No other student ticket option will be available.
