UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS ADA CENTER CHANGES NAME

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The office that serves students with disabilities at the University of Arkansas has changed its name from ADA Center to Center for Students with Disabilities (CSD), effective Monday, October 22.

The CSD's new identity will better identify the office's mission to the university community - to serve as the central campus resource for students with disabilities requiring accommodations to fully participate in University programs and activities.

The CSD will continue to utilize current supplies of letterhead, business cards and other identification markers until supplies have been exhausted. If any information from the CSD is received with the ADA Center logo, please consider that notification an official communication.

Also, the Center for Students with Disabilities will be holding information sessions for students and other interested parties throughout the remainder of the semester to discuss pertinent issues relative to operations, policies and procedures.

To learn more about the Center for Students with Disabilities, contact 575-3104, 575-3646, ada@uark.edu via e-mail or stop by the CSD, located in 211B Arkansas Union.
