UA Debate Team wins State Collegiate Championship

The UA debate team won the State of Arkansas Collegiate Championship Tournament held Febr. 19-20. The UA team won first place overall sweepstates, first place Debate sweepstakes and second place individual events sweepstakes. Twenty-three UA students won individual trophies for outstanding performance in debate or speaking events during the competition.
