UA DEAN OF ENROLLMENT SELECTED AS GUEST FOR NPR SPECIAL
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — University of Arkansas Dean of Enrollment Services Arlene Cash was selected to be a guest on the National Public Radio show, "The Talk of the Nation." Also tapped for the show were representatives from Duke University and Teachers College at Columbia.
The show aired nationally Thursday, April 22, at 2 p.m. Local NPR affiliate KUAF will air a delayed special broadcast of the program Saturday, April 24 at 3 p.m.
The shows special topic focuses on what criteria college admissions officers are looking for in students applying to their colleges.
"This is a tremendous opportunity for the University to create visibility for our campus," said Rebecca Wood, UA manager for media relations. "Ms. Cash is a tremendous asset to the University and we feel privileged that she was tapped to be a guest on this program. Her representation will highlight the diverse opportunities student have on our campus, from scholarships to our admissions process which is based on looking at each student for individual achievements."
