Students in Free Enterprise to Hold Case Study Competition

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas’ Students In Free Enterprise will sponsor GlassCo Fiasco, a seminar for area sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade students to learn business ethics on Friday, Nov. 14.

GlassCo Fiasco will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Business Building, Room 257, in the Sam M. Walton College of Business on the University of Arkansas campus. Dinner will be provided for the students, but advanced registration is required by e-mailing project coordinator Sabrina Wade at smwade@uark.edu.

The seminar is designed to teach the students the basics of business ethics through the participation in a case study competition. The practice of business ethics is of growing concern, and instilling ethical principles at a young age is vital. The event will encompass ethical issues and real-life examples, as well as a competition in a prepared ethical situation for the best decision.
