Skeletons In Your Closet.Habits For Healthy Bones

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The University of Arkansas Women’s Club is presenting UA assistant professor Lori Turner in its lecture series. Turner will speak at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 13 in the Arkansas Union Theater.

Turner, an assistant professor in the department of health science, kinesiology, recreation and dance, will share information from her research of osteoporosis.

Turner has made national headlines this year with her research of osteoporosis in young women as well as her findings that gardening appears to be one of the best forms of exercise for women of all ages to prevent the debilitating disease.
