School of Law to hold Commencement exercises Saturday at Walton Arts Center

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The University of Arkansas School of Law will hold commencement exercises at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, May 15, at the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville.

Former Arkansas governor and U.S. Senator Dale Bumpers will deliver the keynote address to this year's graduating class. After his retirement from the Senate, Bumpers served as director of the Center for Defense Information and is now in private practice in the Washington, D.C., firm Arent Fox.

The School of Law will confer degrees on 125 Juris Doctor candidates and six LL.M. (Master of Laws) candidates during the program, which also includes several award presentations and alumni greetings from David M. Harrison ('87).

Dean Richard B. Atkinson will preside over Saturday's ceremonies.
