NEW UA PROFESSOR HONORED AS USD'S SCHOOL OF EDUCATION ALUMNI LEADER

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - New Educational Administration professor, Dr. Carleton Holt, will be the University of South Dakota’s Alumni Leadership Week’s School of Education representative at USD’s upcoming 1999 Dakota Days celebration. Holt, who received his Ed.D. from the University of South Dakota, was superintendent of schools in North Sioux City, South Dakota., previous to his appointment at the University of Arkansas College of Education & Health Professions. The week-long celebration begins October 5, 1999 and includes a distinguished group of honorees recognized by the USD’s colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business, Fine Arts, Law and Medicine.

"This special week gives us a chance to honor you for your accomplishments and provides opportunities for you to share your experiences with our University students," said USD President James W. Abbott in a letter to Holt. "We look forward to your visit to campus and to an exciting week of special events."
