INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) EXECUTIVE FORUM

The IT Executive Forum is sponsored by the Walton College’s Information Technology Research Center (ITRC). The forum presents IT business leaders from ITRC member companies participating in a panel, of which onlya question and answer session with students may ask questions.. Representatives from major companies in Arkansas and the nearby region will participate in this panel, including Acxiom Corporation; ALLTEL Corporation; Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield; Arkansas Department of Information Systems; Arkansas Executive CIO; Arvest Bank Group Operations, Inc.; Beverly Enterprises Inc.; ConocoPhillips; Data-Tronics Corp.; Dell Inc.; Dillard’s, Inc.; J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc.; Oracle Corporation; Phillips Petroleum Company; Southwestern Energy Company; Tyson Foods, Inc.; and Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.

Students, faculty, and staff from across the University of Arkansas as well as community members are invited to attend this annual event. Students who attend can participate in a drawing for prizes including a Palm PDAn MP3 player, Java text with CD-ROM gift cards and other surprises.

Interview and photograph opportunities for the press will be available after the student forum. 

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CAREER FAIR

The ITRC, Career Development Center, in conjunction with the Career Development CenterInformation Technology Research Center in the Walton College, is sponsoring an IT Career Fair from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 16, 2003, in the Arkansas Union Ballroom. All computer engineering, computer science, and information technology majors are invited to attend this career fair.
