Headliner Concerts Committee to Bring Grammy-Nominated Rap Artist T.I. to Barnhill Arena

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas Headliner Concerts Committee will bring rap artist T.I. to Barnhill Arena at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, as the spring concert. University students may pick up their tickets beginning at 7 a.m. Friday, Feb. 6, in the Arkansas Union Alltel Ballroom.

Since 2001, T.I., also known as Clifford “Tip” Harris, has become one of the most revered and successful artists in his genre, racking up millions in album sales and a myriad of awards, among them two Grammys. In fact, T.I. has been nominated for four Grammys this year, including Best Rap Album for Paper Trail, his newest album in stores now.

The Headliner Concerts Committee is a student-led organization created by the Associated Student Government and approved by the university’s student body to bring major name acts to the University of Arkansas campus. Past concerts include John Mayer, Foo Fighters and O.A.R.

The general public may purchase tickets for $35 through Ticketmaster.com or any Ticketmaster Ticket Center location beginning Saturday, Feb. 7.
