Kicking Off Courtroom Season With U of A Mock Trial
Last weekend, three Mock Hogs teams competed in their first tournaments of the year. Our teams have been practicing hard, and all their work paid off!
Teams Doofenshmirtz and Perry competed at Missouri State University's Bear Brawl Invitational, and their incredible performances at the tournament resulted in multiple individual awards.
At the Bear Brawl, no one had to ask, "Where's Perry?" because they showed up and showed out! Allyson Zimmerman from team Perry achieved a perfect score with 20 ranks as an outstanding attorney on the prosecution! Also from team Perry was Abe Wardlaw, who received an outstanding witness award with 17 ranks for the prosecution. Overall team Perry had an incredible score of five wins and three losses.
From team Doofenshmirtz, Jackson Smith was awarded an outstanding attorney award with 19 ranks on the defense! Team Doofenshmirtz's eager incorporation of their diligent practice did not go unnoticed.
Team Candace also had an amazing weekend at Washington University's Arch Invitational in Missouri. We are so proud of Team Candance for representing Arkansas well at such a competitive tournament!
Summer vacation is officially over and Mock Hogs is handling business! Thank you to teams Candace, Doofenshmirtz and Perry for your dedication and exceptional execution in your very first tournaments of the 2025 fall courtroom season. This is only the beginning--this upcoming weekend, three of our teams will be competing again!
Stay tuned and Woo Pig Sue Me!
