Test of RazALERT Notification System Planned for Tuesday, Aug. 26
The U of A will test the RazALERT emergency notification system at approximately 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26. Messages will be sent out by email, phone and text (for those who have included contact information in Workday or Workday Student) and will clearly indicate that this is only a test. In addition, many digital boards across campus will also be included in the test.
Anyone who doesn’t receive a text and would like to in the event of an actual emergency should sign into Workday or Workday Student to ensure that a cell phone number is included in their personal settings.
Full instructions on how to check or update your information are available on the university's Safety website.
RazALERT (pronounced “raise” alert as in Razorbacks) is the U of A emergency notification system for any threat to campus safety. The system is also used when changes are made to the operational status of campus such as impacts due to inclement weather, as well as safety warnings and other general awareness messages required for a large portion of campus.
