Ashley Ingram, director of talent development, talent management, engagement and experience, was recently recognized as a top 50 learning and development professional as part of the 2025 OnCon Icon Awards.
"It is no surprise to me that Ashley is being recognized in this way by her peers," said Amy Ochoa, associate vice chancellor for human resources. "She constantly pushes our teams forward, offers solutions that enhance the employee experience and helps build a culture that recognizes, rewards and respects all employees. The University of Arkansas is lucky to have such a talented individual leading our workplace learning and development efforts."
The OnCon Icon Awards recognize the top learning and development professionals in the world, as voted on by industry peers. These individuals are judged on how they've made a considerable impact on their organization and/or previous organizations, made strong contributions to their professional community through thought leadership, innovated in their role/career and exhibited exceptional leadership.
Ingram and her team are actively working on major initiatives around the 150 Forward pillar of enhancing the university's status as an employer of choice that reflect this achievement. Most notable among these initiatives include the launch of the employee value proposition survey, a comprehensive redesign of staff onboarding titled "the trail ahead" and the development of a robust performance management framework for faculty and staff.
