Hailey Wilson Lindsey, marketing program manager for the Department of Marketing in the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the U of A, has been named the Walton College's Employee of the Third Quarter for the 2024-25 academic year.

The Employee of the Quarter award honors individuals who go above and beyond in customer service, excel in their roles and make meaningful contributions to their department, college or the university as a whole.

"I'm honored to be named Employee of the Quarter," Lindsey said. "It's truly a privilege to contribute to our students' success and make a lasting impact. Working with such a dedicated team to shape student experiences has been incredibly rewarding, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Walton College!"

Lindsey, who recently celebrated her first anniversary with the college, quickly became an integral part of the Marketing Department. She manages marketing and operations for not only the new sales and retail programs but also the master's programs. In addition, Lindsey coordinates event preparation, logistics and promotional purchasing for the department. Her nominator praised her as a "huge asset to the marketing department and the college, as well as a wonderful colleague."

As a Walton College graduate herself, Lindsey finds fulfillment in supporting current students. "My favorite thing about working for the Walton College is seeing firsthand the impact that our work has on students," she said. "I am honored to have the opportunity to pour into students like I was poured into during my undergraduate years."

When not at work, Lindsey enjoys staying active outdoors, taking her dog for walks on trails, playing pickleball and coaching the U of A's Women's Club Lacrosse team. She's also an avid sports fan and self-described foodie who loves exploring Fayetteville's restaurant scene.

The Employee of the Quarter program is open to all full-time Walton College staff members who have completed at least one year of continuous employment. Colleagues can nominate any eligible staff member by submitting written comments about their significant contributions, which may include developing or improving processes and services, providing superior customer service that enhances the image of their department or the college or performing service above and beyond their job description.

Nominees are chosen by Walton College Dean Brent Williams in collaboration with the associate deans and the Walton College Events Committee. The award includes a certificate of appreciation presented by the dean and a $250 cash prize. Recipients become eligible for the award again after two fiscal years.
