Welcome Spring With Community, Coffee and a Cruise to Campus on April 9
The Office for Sustainability is excited to embrace the full bloom of spring and welcome warmer weather at the upcoming Cruise to Campus event! Stop by Old Main Lawn on April 9 between 7:30 and 10 a.m. for a refreshing morning of biking, great coffee and community connection.
With longer days and warmer temperatures ahead, there's no better time to swap your car for a bicycle and enjoy a more sustainable and engaging commute. Whether you're a regular bicyclist or just getting started, Cruise to Campus is the perfect way to welcome spring and learn about the benefits of alternative transportation. Stop by to grab a breakfast pastry, enjoy a cup of coffee and connect with fellow riders who share a passion for commuting by bicycle.
Bicycling is an easy and enjoyable way to lower your carbon footprint, improve your wellbeing and experience campus in a whole new way. Not to mention, it's much cheaper than paying for parking. This event is a welcoming space for all to ask questions, share experiences and help build a stronger biking community on campus.
So dust off your bike, bring a friend and join us for a morning of fresh air, good company and great coffee. We'll see you on April 2 from 7:30 to 10 a.m. at Old Main Lawn! This is a rain or shine event, just like your daily commute to campus. Keeping it real is a full-time job! Check out Hogsync or bike.uark.edu for more information.
