Call for Faculty Governance Nominations
It's time for faculty governance nominations. Nominees are needed for the following positions: chair of Campus Faculty, faculty senators-at-large and members to the Appointment, Promotion and Tenure (APT) Committee.
Nominations are due no later than Friday, April 4. Access the one-page nomination form.
Please consider seeking a leadership position in faculty shared governance by allowing your name to go forward to our faculty for the following position:
Chair of Campus Faculty (2025-2026)
(Normally four, or more, nominees)
Chair of Campus Faculty is automatically Faculty Senate chair during 2026-2027
Faculty Senator-at-Large (2025-2027)
(Six positions are open, two-year terms)
Appointment, Promotion and Tenure Committee (2025-2028)
(Four positions are open for tenured faculty, three-year terms)
This committee considers questions concerning a specific faculty member's tenure, promotion, appointment, dismissal, retirement, etc.
Any faculty member can nominate someone. Self-nominations are welcome. Faculty - tenured, tenure‐track or who have been employed full‐time for the last three years - are eligible to serve and to vote for chair of Campus Faculty and faculty denator-at-large. Faculty who are tenured are eligible to serve on, and faculty who are tenured or tenure‐track are eligible to vote for, the Appointment, Promotion and Tenure Committee.
