The U of A is set to host One Day, One U of A, a 24-hour giving event on April 10, rallying Razorbacks around the world to support 21 grassroots-led projects that will have an immediate and lasting impact on students, faculty and the broader community.

For one day only, alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends are invited to "Be the Beacon" by making a gift to projects that align with their passions—from scholarships and student success programs to research initiatives and campus enhancements.

"One Day, One U of A is more than just a fundraising event—it's a movement," said Amy Linimon, assistant vice chancellor of engagement. "This is an opportunity for our community to unite and directly support the innovative ideas and programs that make the U of A a beacon of hope for so many, as our alma mater states."

Throughout the day, donors can choose to support any of the amazing projects, each designed to support the meaningful work and initiatives of the university. Funds raised will contribute directly to the project with the goal of the day being to fully fund each and every project.

"As a project leader, I know firsthand how much these funds will mean," said Laura Jacobs, senior director of philanthropic initiatives. "The impact of One Day, One U of A goes beyond just dollars raised — it's about showing our students and campus community that we believe in them and their future."

Beyond financial contributions, One Day is also about engagement and participation. Supporters are encouraged to spread the word by sharing their reasons for giving on social media, using the hashtag #1Day1UofA, and challenging friends and family to join in.
