Arkansas Union Sustainability Announces First Guest in Green Career Series
The Arkansas Union Sustainability Green Career Series is meant to highlight the evolving sustainability industry in the area by showcasing professionals already working in that realm. The first featured professional is Peter Nierengarten, environmental director for city of Fayetteville. This series is part of the second phase of the Arkansas Union Sustainability program.
The event will consist of a short welcome and overview of the Arkansas Union's new Sustainability Program. After the welcome, Ella Fei Flesher, Union Sustainability intern, will interview Nierengarten, covering his journey into his current position. Following the interview, there will be a reception held in the International Connections Lounge of the Arkansas Union, where beverages and a charcuterie spread will be available for refreshment. The event will take place at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 6, in the Arkansas Union Theater. Please register for the event on HogSync.
