Starting Monday, March 3, students and staff can get a glimpse of our new student information system, Workday Student. While UAConnect is still the system of record for student academic information until this summer, students can see some of their grades, courses and other information in Workday now. Updates to this information will happen throughout the spring and summer semesters.

Students will register for their summer classes in UAConnect beginning March 17. The first registration in Workday will be for fall 2025 classes beginning on April 7. Click here for more information on summer and fall registration.   

To help prepare the campus for Workday Student, six mock semester events will take place from March 3-7. These events will allow campus users to try out our new student information system. For instance, students can drop in and practice registering in Workday. While they still need to see their advisers to plan their courses for fall 2025, this is an opportunity for students to start feeling comfortable with the registration process that begins in April. Faculty and staff are encouraged to drop by and get a look at class rosters, administrative dashboards and ask questions. 

"Our hope is that these mock semester events will give our students, faculty and staff the experience of navigating through the tasks and processes that they will be doing most in Workday," said Dave Dawson, senior associate vice provost for Enrollment Services and director of Workday Student. "This is a first step in getting our larger campus community acclimated to our new student information system."  

Here's the schedule and locations for the mock semester events:

• Arkansas Union Computer Lab (For all students, faculty, staff)
  • Monday, March 3, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
  • Tuesday - Friday, March 4-7, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
  • Lab computers will be reserved for attendees
•  Waterman Hall, room 104 (Law and graduate students)
  • Monday, March 3, 9 a.m.-noon
