The Graduate Professional Student Congress' Graduate Advocacy and Belonging Committee is proud to present the first GPSC Graduate Student Job Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 30. As the newly elected co-chairs of the GPSC Graduate Advancement and Belonging Committee, Chy'Na Nellon and Ndotimi Apulu are excited to bring this opportunity to our graduate student community.

Unlike traditional campus job fairs, which primarily cater to undergraduates and entry-level positions, this event will prioritize opportunities for graduate students with advanced degrees and specialized skill sets. We aim to connect highly qualified students with employers who value research expertise, analytical skills and innovative problem-solving.

Upcoming Workshop: Using Your Advanced Degree in Nonprofit Work

Date: Wednesday
Time: 2-3:30 p.m.
Location: Multicultural Center Classroom
(Refreshments provided!)

In preparation for the Job Fair, we are launching a workshop series exploring career paths for those with advanced degrees. Our first session, "Using Your Advanced Degree in Nonprofit Work," will highlight the impactful and dynamic opportunities available in the nonprofit sector.

Join us for an engaging discussion with:

  • Patricia Relph & Samantha Stinson (Walton Arts Center)
  • Edmond Davis

These experts have built influential careers by applying their advanced degrees to nonprofit work, demonstrating innovation, leadership and dedication to their respective fields. This session will provide insight into how you can leverage your expertise to create meaningful change through nonprofit organizations.

Don't miss this opportunity to explore new career pathways, gain valuable insights and connect with professionals who are redefining success in the nonprofit sector!
